Miracles of the Prophet
(salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam)

prophetsmoon.jpg

This picture above shows the location of the “Rocky Belt” which shows the moon was once split.

The unbelievers of Makkah said to the Prophet (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) that if you are truly a Prophet split the moon and if you do we shall believe. It was a full moon that night…

And so the Prophet (salla lahu alayi wa’ale hi Wasallam) prayed to Allah (swt)  to grant him this miracle, and the moon was split. Half was seen over Mount. Saffa, and the other half was seen over Mount. Kaikaan.

Then Allah revealed Verse in Al’  Quran in Sura al Qamar: “The hour has come near and the moon has split, and when they see a sign, they turn and say ‘this is a continuous magic’ and they disbelieved and followed their desires…”

This took place in the days of the Prophet Muhammad (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) in Makkah.

Geologists conclude that this couldn’t be unless the moon was once split and resealed. The rocks on the belt are a result of the impact during the time that the two halves of the moon recombined

The Messenger of Allah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) has been granted miracles like no other Prophet before, yet his blessed life, unparalleled qualities were not in need of any miracles as those who even once saw the blessed Prophet (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) knew he had to be a Prophet.

It was the grace of Allah (swt) that He wished to raise the rank of His most beloved of creation that He granted him the miracles and powers so that the people of all times can be witness of the rank and honour bestowed upon Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam). The deeds of any believer can never be sufficient on the day of resurrection and therefore even the Prophets (Assalatu Assalam) will be seeking the waseelah – intercession of the Final Messenger (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam).

The beloved Messenger of Allah (salla lahu ayahi wa’ale hi Wasallam) may our parents be sacrificed for his sake, this is how the companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) would address Rasulallah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam), would have the hard ground made soft by the will of Allah (swt) and the soft ground would be made hard so that the beloved Messenger (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) would find comfort as he placed his blessed feet on the ground to walk. Subhan-Allah.

It was through the divine will of Allah (swt) that the stones would send salawat – blessings on the Messenger (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) as he walked and a cloud would follow him to give him shade from the scorching heat of Arabia. Subhan-Allah.

The beloved Messenger of Allah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) would have a scent transpiring from his blessed body which would scent the streets even days after Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) had passed there and the drops of sweat from the beloved (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) were collected by the blessed companions and were used to perfume; the perfume. The miracles performed and revealed onto Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) mentioned in the books of Ahadith are by no means an exhaustive list of the rank but are mere examples of the incomparable place of the beloved Prophet (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) has in comparison to the rest of creation. The greatest facts when discussing the miracles of the beloved Prophet (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) are the following;

1)   Al Qur’an – The perfect Word of Allah (swt) is the greatest miracle revealed to any of the creation. The message, language and effect of the Glorious Book of Criterion has not in anyway been changed or been compromised. This miracle was revealed onto the heart of the most blessed Messenger (salla lahu layhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) and remains in the Worlds for eternity. Miracles revealed onto previous Prophets (Assalatu Assalam) were all taken away as they departed from the world, but the miracle of Al’Qur’an revealed onto Rasulullah (Salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) remains thousands of years after the beloved Messenger (salla lahau alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) departed. This miracle will continue to enlighten mankind till the end of time. Insh-Allah.

2)   The miracles bestowed upon the previous Prophets (As) were all revealed onto the Leader of All Prophets; Prophet Muhammad (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) in one form or another. Allah (swt) has raised the rank of His most beloved Messenger above all other.

3)   The blessed life of Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) is in itself a miracle. The blessed lineage, upbringing, highest morals and conduct, perfection of speech and action, consistency of character, highest esteem amongst family, companions and enemies and above all the one whom Allah (swt) has praised, protected and blessed by His own blessed words in Al’ Qur’an.

The miracles are still being bestowed upon Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) by Allah (swt) through the continuous sending of blessings on his rank by Allah (swt), the angels and all of creation.

Also in the blessed months of Rabi-Awwal and Ramadan, there continues to be sightings of the blessed name of the Prophet (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) being written in the sky and on 23 March 2010, the shape of the blessed shoe – nalain Mubarak worn by Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi Wasallam) was seen on the moon.  Subhan-Allah
